Mission Statement
Little Diamonds Director, Karrien Stevens has over 19 years’ experience in the childcare sector and has achieved a First-Class BA Hons. in Childhood and Education, Early Years Professional Status and QTS as well as achieving the Forest School Leader Level 3.
I have been extremely fortunate to be able to run and manage my own nursery for over eighteen years. I absolutely love all of our children and the best award for me is to see them learn, develop and grow. We also employ an excellent management team who are highly qualified in Early Years, Teaching, Forest School Leaders, Play work and Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCO). The Managers are Karrien Stevens, Daxa Patel and Sophie Wiggs.
We are located within the London Borough of Newham. A partnership has been formed with the local Early Years, with whom we work closely to ensure that we provide the EYFS Curriculum and all of the Safeguarding childcare requirements are met. We are striving for ‘Excellence’ and we are continuously increasing our clientele through accessibility to our business to become a market leader in this field. Full day childcare with an ‘Early Education Approach’ offering ‘Fun’ ‘Care’ and ‘Education.

Teaching and preparing our children to transition to school is the proudest moment for us all here, therefore we hold Graduation Special Days for our children’s celebrations. Every child is important to us. We nurture the babies in our care, believing that strong foundations are created by caring for each child as an individual, meeting their needs for attention, sensory stimulation as well as offering a safe and secure environment. Our staff create strong bonds with our children building their self- confidence and self- belief, positively encouraging them to be self-independent and try out new experiences. As our children grow and progress, we plan age-appropriate activities which will ignite curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. We have a passion for excellence and innovation in pre-school education.
We hold a fundamental belief about the importance of education and its ability to nurture the development of intelligence through a unique curriculum encompassing music, art, sport, early literacy, numeracy and technology. Most importantly, our children develop self-confidence and an understanding of their own needs, who they are and how to become compassionate and responsible members of society. Our staff are knowledgeable, dedicated, and enthusiastic, and provide a warm, loving environment for your child.
We have an outdoor area for children to explore, discover, create and learn. We have dedicated sensory rooms and separate sleep rooms for babies and toddlers.
